- Pray the Rosary together for peace in the world. At 2:00p.m. in the Chapel

- Collect donations to help the refugees in Ukraine- will be sending the money to Catholic Charities for the Ukraine Refugees.
​
-Assemble supplies for the refugees & homeless among us. The bags will go to Catholic Charities for the refugees and each family will take some bags to give to the homeless they encounter.

Stations of the Cross
Prayer: you could add another acts of piety as a family. For example: praying the Rosary or Divine Mercy, do The Stations of the Cross ( especially on Fridays), do a personal examination of conscience every night to see where you went wrong -ask forgiveness to Christ and get up and do better the next day. As well see what you have improved and give thanks to God.
Penance: means to turn around and head to a new direction. A change of heart. Go to the sacrament of confession. Forgive!
Fasting: not only on food but you could also fast from what is hard for you: mass media, cell phone, gossip, anger, silence when necessary...
Alms Giving: give to others, does not only have to be money but also your time, love... (giving a hand to someone...).
We invite you to do this at home with each kid. Filling in the blank what God is asking of each one of them

Recientemente, celebramos la Semana de las Escuelas Católicas en la Diócesis. La celebración de este año se llevó a cabo virtualmente, pero sin embargo, me brindó la oportunidad de decirles a los estudiantes que agradezcan a sus padres por estar comprometidos con la educación católica. Y para aquellos que luchan por enviar a sus hijos a la escuela católica, estoy encantado por todos los esfuerzos en la Diócesis para hacer posible la educación católica para aquellos que la buscan.
Las parroquias de la Diócesis están haciendo todo lo posible para mantener en marcha los programas de formación en la fe catequética, pero esta pandemia lo ha dificultado. Los padres, catequistas y ministros parroquiales están atentos a la necesidad de transmitir la fe a la próxima generación. La Diócesis está comprometida a mantener estos programas de formación fuertes y vitales.

Fue un placer para mà iniciar una misa de educación en el hogar en la Diócesis, reconociendo que muchas de nuestras familias educan a sus hijos en el hogar. Mi objetivo es asegurar que la formación en la fe sea parte de su plan de estudios y proporcionar un sistema de apoyo en la Diócesis para estas familias. Muchos creen que esta pandemia ha resultado en un mayor número de familias que optarán por educar a sus hijos en el hogar en el futuro. Mi objetivo es desafiar a la iglesia doméstica, a la familia, a cumplir con la responsabilidad de transmitir la fe a la próxima generación.

¡Confío profundamente en la formación que reciben mis hijos en las actividades de ART Domine! Qué brillante modelo de formación de familia a familia, donde todos en la familia Granados, desde niños hasta adultos, sirven a familias como la mía que asisten a los eventos. Mis hijos siempre se divierten haciendo actividades completamente saludables, sin pantallas incluidas :) ¡Incluso mis hijos tímidos o reservados, que generalmente no hacen amigos cuando van a eventos grupales, son bienvenidos de tal manera que realmente hacen amigos! Y el celo por la fe es solo parte de la vida de los Granados, ¡así que la formación de ART Domine! procede de una profunda convicción interna: se transfiere de corazón a corazón, llegando a los niños a un nivel profundo y duradero. ¡Estoy muy feliz de tener estos campamentos y clubes disponibles para mis hijos!
